we’ve known Tay for a long time now and her songs are incredible! we loved her first single ‘Millennials’ which came out in March and we’re so impressed by this next single! one of our favourite songwriters on the scene and her backing band really provide a perfect atmosphere to her style of songwriting and performance

we heard this a few weeks ago when they got in contact and we love it! blending indie with rnb/soul element, ‘Little Acts’ is a lovely track to feast your ears upon – plus, they’ve decided to donate all proceeds to the Olympias Music Foundation – “a Manchester charity that provides music and arts opportunities to BAME and low income families” great work!

blending rock, indie and classic gothic punky elements reminiscent of bands such as Joy Division and the 80’s new wave scene, their new single is coming out on the 23rd October and we can’t wait to hear it in full! their sound is a fresh breath of air in the windy city ☀️

we’ve known Tom for a long time now and this song is a real testament to his songwriting ability and talent! 😊 blending folk, rock and indie, Tom is definitely one to watch! he released it on Bandcamp with a b-side ‘Chasing Shadows’ which he also performed for Music Solid so make sure you go and check that out! ✊

we had him perform for us as part of his band Electric Screams who blew us away with their performance and we’re stoked to hear this! going in a different direction, Matthew has really brought a lovely new sound to his music whilst still maintaining his originality and unique style – definitely one to watch! 🙂

Scott is a singer-songwriter who we’ve seen about on the scene a fair bit, and we’re big fans of his folk-punk style and classic storytelling ability! 🎸 this song is called ‘Save Our Souls’, a really nice punky mellow track ☀️

our feature today for Just The Crust is the lovely tune ‘Front Row’ from Lucas Kane! 💥 this is off his brand new EP ‘Prom Queen’ which came out around a week or so ago!

blending acoustic and singer-songwriter guitarwork with rnb and soul influences, Lucas has made a huge impression on the Manchester music scene over the past few years, especially with the release of his debut EP ‘High School’ and this EP only continues to deliver! 🙂 you can really see his songwriting talent shine throughout the tracks and his production work really compliments his vocal ability and performance! definitely one to watch for the future ☀️
