last month’s was fantastic, so great to have bands playing at The Grafton and we had a super lovely one – can’t wait for Saturday’s gig with Whatever The Weather, Monday Night Special and Indoor Shoes! 🌛 some of the North West’s best up-and-coming talent playing for us here.

we’ve got a top lineup for this one, with music from Liverpool-based Indoor Shoes and Manchester’s own Whatever The Weather and Monday Night Special! 😊 this one’s gonna be a belter, expect a whole load of indie goodness. with how amazing the last one was, we can’t wait for this one!

tonight marks the first of our brand new band gigs over at the Grafton Arms! 🤘

“Toasted” is our brand new monthly band night (can’t go wrong with a bread pun or seven) and we’re stoked to be able to bring these amazing bands to the stage tonight with The Distance The Sprats Band and INTERVENE! ☀️ it’s gonna be a lovely night of madness, noise and good old unfiltered grungy rock goodness from some of the North’s best up-and-coming bands. 😊

may be a little bit of a late post but man we are so hyped to be able to announce the first of our BAND GIGS down at the Grafton Arms! 👊

“Toasted” is our brand new monthly band night where we’ll be bringing you some of Manchester’s best in indie, rock and alternative, plus delving out a bit further to give bands across the North a chance to get heard here in the rainy city! ☔️

for our first one we’ve got a proper stellar lineup, with alternative-rock outfit The Sprats Band indie rockers The Distance and Sheffield’s very own INTERVENE! 🤘 looks to be a reyt class one, these guys are incredible and it’s sure to be one not to miss out on. ☀️

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the latest single from Cottons “Breathe”! 🤘

we had these guys on a few years ago down at The Old Abbey Taphouse for a headline gig and it’s been absolutely amazing to see them going from strength to strength and evolving their sound, a real class indie-rock band here in Manchester. 😊

their latest tune here has been out for a little while now, but they’ve just released this music video for it and we definitely recommend checking it out – the song itself is super as well, starting out nice and relaxed, building up and up throughout til it explodes into a wall of sound at the end ☀️ absolutely fantastic vocals here, the songwriting gives you a fantastic story and message that they’re trying to convey and the band sounds so tight together. 🪐 amazing stuff!

“Beautiful Shoes” is the latest single from their new EP and it’s a proper banger, blending indie rock vibes with upbeat atmospheres and lovely lyricism. a real feel good tune for the summer! these guys are definitely ones to watch! 😊

we’ve been following these guys for a while and each of their tunes are class – definitely got a top sound to them! their latest EP ‘What Happened In The Pink Room?” is top too, well worth a listen! 😎

the Wigan four-piece return with yet another strong single, following on from their singles and EP last year – meshing indie rock with pop-jangly riffs, ‘Blue Lagoon’ really shows that Rivver are here to bring the summer vibes this year! ☀️

with a driving bassline controlling the track, unmistakably Northern vocals and a feel-good attitude throughout the track, there’s plenty to enjoy here as it erupts into the chorus with positivity and vibes that we’ve all been missing this last year. that guitar solo at the end and the building element of the track is class as well, super boss tune! 🤘
