Our final artist for Bread On The Wall, Scatterchild! ๐Ÿฅช

our final artist performing tonight at Band on the Wall for us is the inimitable Scatterchild ๐Ÿ‘Š

described as high drama, emotionally intense, or sometimes as just ‘sad yelling’, their music is rife with detail, disarmingly honest writing, soaring vocals and textured arrangements akin to likes of Bowie, with the energy of Everything Everything and the thematic potency of Radiohead. ๐ŸŽถ

SCATTERCHILD is a project driven by staying true to its own vision of excellence, being ambitious beyond its station, and making sure that excitement permeates every song, regardless of it being a blindingly fast punk tune, or

a heartachingly solemn ballad. As aggressively memorable as their angular logo suggests, they always aim to go bolder, bigger, and meet the ambition they’re often praised for by fans and the press. ๐ŸŒœ

our third act performing tomorrow at Band on the Wall is the one and only Anyoneโ€™s Ghost ๐Ÿ’ซ

First appearing on the Manchester music scene in 2019, Anyoneโ€™s Ghost makes a large impact with a delicate sound, her solemn songs touching on themes of death, romance, mystery and murder. The solo project of local songwriter Wanda Roslyn, Anyoneโ€™s Ghost was born from the influence of dark folk and indie rock, encompassed in poetic lyricism and an affection for literature. Usually wielding an acoustic guitar and a multitude of effects pedals, Wanda is able to capture attention from the get-go with haunting vocals, melodic guitar work and a soundscape formed with intensity and emotion. ๐ŸŒ›

you can get tickets at https://fatso.ma/Z7iR – don’t miss out on what’s to be a fantastic evening of live music ๐Ÿž

Our next act at Bread On The Wall, michael webster! ๐Ÿ’ซ

our second artist performing this Saturday at Band on the Wall is our very own michael webster ๐ŸŒœ

A familiar face for many on the Manchester scene, michaelโ€™s songs are instantly recognisable by many across the region. Michaelโ€™s unique guitar-playing style, introspective lyricism, and his distinctly Northern-accented storytelling has gained him praise from his fans and peers, being compared to songwriters such as Courtney Barnett, Neil Young, Nirvana, and he has even been referred to as the โ€œLancastrian Bob Dylanโ€ in the past. His unfaltering approach to writing is unapologetic, raw and personal. His individuality and identity make him a unique and essential part of the Manchester scene. ๐Ÿ‘Š

Our first act at Bread On The Wall, Eyam ๐ŸŒœ

introducing our first act performing at Band on the Wall this Saturday, the inimitable Eyam ๐Ÿ™Œ

Through a melting pot of folk, rock, punk and classical influences, Eyam has quickly gained a formidable reputation as the bard of Manchesterโ€™s music scene. With epic song lengths, unconventional song structures, and visual lyricism, his work draws comparison to the likes of Neutral Milk Hotel, Joanna Newsom, and The Microphones. Eyamโ€™s music takes the audience to a new world, exploring ideas of yearning, love, obsession, grief, fear, nature, and time. ๐ŸŒœ
