our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Natives” from GETNER! ๐
a familiar face on the Manchester scene, GETNER seriously made their mark already, with a bunch of incredible tunes under their belt, a fantastic live performance that’s sure to get everyone fired up, and having done a bunch of sold-out headlines, they’re an essential band to get to know here in the North West ๐ฅ
this new tune “Natives” sounds incredible, opening up with a delicate soundscape, drawing the listener in to listen, and it opens up almost immediately into an energetic, riff-infused atmosphere that’s got a proper groove behind it. Quentin’s vocal takes centre stage and addresses the listener, ensuring their attention – and his lyricism is direct and poetic, really painting a picture with the songwriting. the track flows so effortlessly, there’s a proper dynamic behind it and it goes through so many different melodies and grooves, yet maintains a real connection between them, proving the band’s musical ability and ensuring the attention of anyone who listens to it ๐
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “London Town” from HEALER! ๐ค
the Grimsby-based alternative rock outfit have been making waves since 2022, and they’ve become known for hard-hitting shows around the East Yorkshire area and beyond, having performed a bunch – plus, their previous singles were given a fantastic reception by radio, blogs and their fans ๐ถ
this new single “London Town” sounds fantastic, and it’s got the familiar energy of their previous tracks, with gorgeous atmospheric sounds paving the soundscape, anthemic singalong choruses and down-to-earth, relatable lyricism that has seen them connect to people effortlessly through their music. there’s a real driving rhythm behind the track, and you can really hear the chemistry within the band, each member an expert at their craft, coming together to create something truly special. it’s a fantastic listen, proving them as ones to watch for 2025! ๐
you can find the track on all streaming platforms, and there’s a music video available to watch on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEsi4XVj6fc – give it a watch! ๐ง

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Little Louis” from Tom Collins! ๐
the North Wales based artist has been making waves over the past few years, with a run of incredible singles out and having performed across the country – plus, supporting The Sherlocks on their current tour! ๐ฅ
this is his first release of 2025, and he’s come out swinging with a hard-hitting, in-your-face tune that’s reminiscent of noughties indie, but with a modern feel – his songwriting talent really ensures that you’re hanging onto every word, and the story he conveys is down-to-earth and relatable. the song has a powerful energy, with a fierce singalong chorus, a lovely driving rhythm behind it and feeling fresh throughout the whole tune. a great listen and definitely one to watch for the future! ๐ค
last Thursday, we had our fifth rendition of our monthly band shows “BAKED” down at the Eagle Inn was top! ๐ฅช
