we had a super evening down at the Eagle Inn on Saturday for our headline show with The Be Positives
a big shout out to them for headlining last minute, and for performing an incredible set – plus our supports The Bad Wires and The Mudslingers were fantastic too!
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “REAR VIEW” from Chloe Charlotte 💫
over the past few years, she’s been releasing a bunch of incredible tunes, performing headline shows across Manchester and making a real mark on the scene, ensuring her as one to keep an eye out for in 2026 👊
this new track sounds fantastic – it’s got a proper grungey atmosphere to it, with a pop-infused influence that compliments the track expertly, and singalong lyrics that only prove her songwriting ability, being able to portray raw and personal emotions in image-inducing lyricism that’s not only able to paint a real picture of feeling but make for a singalong anthem that’s relatable and musically adept. there’s a lovely soundscape to the track that compliments the songcraft superbly; it’s an incredible listen and we can’t wait to hear what comes next 🌙
a stellar evening in store, with additional support from Poor Effort – we’re proper looking forward to this one. 7:30pm doors, tickets available over at https://fatso.ma/3ged 🎟️
the Manchester-based three-piece rock and roll band have been tearing it up across the city, performing a bunch and their high energy tunes have a real infectious groove to them, it’s sure to be a fantastic night of music, with additional support from Bobrats!
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Never Looked At Me That Way” from Dreaming of Citra! 🎶
we’ve covered these guys’ previous singles and we love their indie-rock/dream-pop esque style, with luscious melodies throughout their music and infectious hooks, and they’ve been gigging across Manchester a bunch, with a headline show next at YES in June! 👊
this new single sounds fantastic, with a lovely atmospheric sound right from the get-go, with driving rhythm forming the foundation of the track, allowing for the guitar riff to soar expertly above it, and the main vocal takes command, ensuring the listener is hanging on every word, and it’s a real personal yet adeptly written track, with raw emotion in every lyric but also maintaining a singalong chorus. we especially love the middle eight build into the final chorus, a real slow build that works exceptionally – it’s a fantastic listen! 🌙
