our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Got To Lose” by Burnley-based indie outfit The Stride! π
following the release of their single “Hold On” last year, the band have gone from strength to strength, performing across the North West and beyond, taking their indie rock tunes with them and astounding audiences – reminiscent of 90’s Manchester vibes π₯
this new single opens up with a nostalgic guitar progression, backed with a real tight rhythm section that holds it together, giving plenty of room for the lead guitar melody to flow over the top – and the main vocal takes command immediately, it’s a real indie anthemic vibe to it with a singalong chorus and with a proper stadium rock feel π
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the explosive new single “P.O.S” from Tay Temple! π₯
we’ve known Tay for a good long time now, and we’re always blown away by her music and her drive – she’s got so many bangers under her belt and this is yet another incredible track. there’s a headline show on the 12th of September which we can’t wait for – tickets at https://www.fatsoma.com/e/p2g8wbed/vortex-presents-tay-temple π
this single “P.O.S” sounds incredible, her in-your-face, no-nonsense attitude is present throughout the tune, and right from the get-go, Tay’s vocal immediately grips the listener’s attention, with direct lyricism and driving guitars punching through. as the track opens up, the drums and bassline lay a strong foundation for the tune, perfectly complimenting the guitar riffs and ensuring Tay’s powerful vocals and straight-talking lyrics take centre stage π a real angry anthem for the modern age!
you can listen to the new single on all streaming platforms, and there’s a lyric visualiser available on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9r3T2Si1us – well worth checking out πΆ

this is the Leicester-based songwriter’s second single, following his debut “Ale House Blues” last year, performing across the East Midlands and making his mark on the scene in style! π
this new single sounds fantastic, with a real 60’s rock and roll groove from the get-go, giving it a real sense of energy and rhythm behind the track, setting the stage for Ryan to to take command with his smooth, yet powerful vocal capabilities. the track is a real relatable, with lyrics pertaining to the emotions in a breakup, yet he’s delivering it with a passionate and powerful outlook π₯

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “disappeared” by ROSH!
we’re huge fans of ROSH’s music, having covered a bunch of his previous singles, and his delicate, yet intricately-crafted songs cover topics of not only political issues, but the constant manoeuvre through modern life. his art has seen him perform at prestigious venues across Sheffield and the surrounding areas, and his expert songwriting ensure him as one to definitely catch perform
this new single “disappeared” is full of gorgeous vocal harmonies, right from the get-go, immediately catching the listener’s attention, and the call and response from the vocals to the violin is brilliant, and as the track sets into the foundation, there’s a real groove behind it, ensuring the flow maintains it’s direction throughout, yet allowing for ROSH’s lyrical capabilities to be on full display – the balance of the instrumentation on this track really complements his musical talent. it’s a gorgeous listen, and a raw and personal delivery of pure emotion
