this is their second single, they’ve been performing across the North at gigs and festivals in preparation for the release of their debut EP later this year – they’ve been smashing it
the track sounds luscious, opening up with a dreamy guitar melody line, energetic rhythm and a real groove holding it all together, giving plenty of room for the vocals to flow over. as it progresses to the chorus, it builds almost effortlessly to a massive sound – expanding so well and grabbing the attention of any listener. with a proper singalong chorus, a gorgeous guitar solo and a quality energy behind the track, we can’t wait to hear the full EP!

our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new EP from Superfriends “Superfriends Are Online!”
we reviewed their single “Blimpy Boy” last year and we’ve been looking forward to more music from them for a while, they dropped their single “Imposter Syndrome” last month in the run up to this EP and it sounds mega!
mixing diy punk and indie-folk vibes, their energetic and infectious tracks are lovely, upbeat and driving throughout their duration. you can find honest and raw, personal lyricism in each song, and gorgeous guitar riffs and synth melodies ensure that their songs are memorable and get stuck in your head. you can hear the chemistry of the band throughout, working perfectly in tandem to create a real unique sound – a brilliant listen and well worth checking out!
our very own Olivia Browse put out her single “Calendar Girl” two years ago today 🗓️♥️
a proper bubblegum pop banger, this was stuck in our heads for so long – such a tune. produced by @keepshtum and featuring @szoumusicuk – a slight variation to the kinda music we usually put out but we love it nonetheless! 🎶
you can find it on all streaming sites or you can find the full music video on YouTube at https://youtu.be/SuOnRZzGucM – check it out 🍞
