we’ve covered a bunch of incredible music on our website – you can find it all over at www.breadrecords.co.uk ๐
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new album “Pale Fire Catch Me” from Man At Sea ๐
the Bristol-based songwriter has had a fantastic run of music behind him, from his debut single back in 2023, to the release of his debut album here in 2026. his intimate and emotional songwriting style sets him apart from the rest, and has cemented him as one to watch for the year ๐
this new album is full evidence of his songwriting talent, ranging from intimate and personal tracks, to more full-band produced songs, yet still maintaining that conversational and raw style that he does so well. there’s a lovely flow to the album, with each track blending effortlessly with the next, and you can really hear the pure passion and emotion poured into each of the tunes. such lovely production throughout as well – it’s definitely worth a listen! โ๏ธ
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “In The Long Dim Light” from Nat Dempsey โ๏ธ
we’ve known Nat for ages now, and we’re massive fans of his down-to-earth songwriting style, and his innate talent to write a relatable and introspective song that has a real groove behind it, utilising his musical ability to create interesting and melodic progressions ๐
this new single is full evidence of his ability, opening up with a gorgeous dreamy guitar melody that matches his flowing vocal expertly, there’s a real luscious soundscape to this track, and his vocal ability takes centre stage as he commands the attention of the listener with his raw power. his lyrics are almost like a conversation, connecting effortlessly with the listener – and the drop into the chorus is beautiful. yet another incredible tune under his belt ๐ค
the Manchester-based three-piece rock and roll band have been tearing it up across the city, performing a bunch and their high energy tunes have a real infectious groove to them, it’s sure to be a fantastic night of music, with additional support from Bobrats!
our feature for today’s Just The Crust is the brand new single “Never Looked At Me That Way” from Dreaming of Citra! ๐ถ
we’ve covered these guys’ previous singles and we love their indie-rock/dream-pop esque style, with luscious melodies throughout their music and infectious hooks, and they’ve been gigging across Manchester a bunch, with a headline show next at YES in June! ๐
this new single sounds fantastic, with a lovely atmospheric sound right from the get-go, with driving rhythm forming the foundation of the track, allowing for the guitar riff to soar expertly above it, and the main vocal takes command, ensuring the listener is hanging on every word, and it’s a real personal yet adeptly written track, with raw emotion in every lyric but also maintaining a singalong chorus. we especially love the middle eight build into the final chorus, a real slow build that works exceptionally – it’s a fantastic listen! ๐
