there’s only a week to go til we’re down over in Liverpool at Avenue HQ Mann Island for “Hot-Desk Live”! 🤝

we’ve got a stellar evening of music in store for you all, with music from the incredible talents of Scatterchild Karen Turley Grace Elizabeth Harvey and michael webster 👊 set in one of Liverpool’s loveliest office settings, with some of the North West’s finest talent!

we’ll be running from 5pm through til 9pm, there’s drinks on offer, and a free welcome drink for all attendees – you can get tickets over at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/hot-desk-live-tickets-945458651277 🍞

our third act performing tomorrow at Band on the Wall is the one and only Anyone’s Ghost 💫

First appearing on the Manchester music scene in 2019, Anyone’s Ghost makes a large impact with a delicate sound, her solemn songs touching on themes of death, romance, mystery and murder. The solo project of local songwriter Wanda Roslyn, Anyone’s Ghost was born from the influence of dark folk and indie rock, encompassed in poetic lyricism and an affection for literature. Usually wielding an acoustic guitar and a multitude of effects pedals, Wanda is able to capture attention from the get-go with haunting vocals, melodic guitar work and a soundscape formed with intensity and emotion. 🌛

you can get tickets at https://fatso.ma/Z7iR – don’t miss out on what’s to be a fantastic evening of live music 🍞

Our next act at Bread On The Wall, michael webster! 💫

our second artist performing this Saturday at Band on the Wall is our very own michael webster 🌜

A familiar face for many on the Manchester scene, michael’s songs are instantly recognisable by many across the region. Michael’s unique guitar-playing style, introspective lyricism, and his distinctly Northern-accented storytelling has gained him praise from his fans and peers, being compared to songwriters such as Courtney Barnett, Neil Young, Nirvana, and he has even been referred to as the “Lancastrian Bob Dylan” in the past. His unfaltering approach to writing is unapologetic, raw and personal. His individuality and identity make him a unique and essential part of the Manchester scene. 👊

Saturday 3rd August – 7pm doors // tickets are available at https://fatso.ma/Z7iR 🍞

Our first act at Bread On The Wall, Eyam 🌜

introducing our first act performing at Band on the Wall this Saturday, the inimitable Eyam 🙌

Through a melting pot of folk, rock, punk and classical influences, Eyam has quickly gained a formidable reputation as the bard of Manchester’s music scene. With epic song lengths, unconventional song structures, and visual lyricism, his work draws comparison to the likes of Neutral Milk Hotel, Joanna Newsom, and The Microphones. Eyam’s music takes the audience to a new world, exploring ideas of yearning, love, obsession, grief, fear, nature, and time. 🌜
