we had a well lovely one last night with Louis Phillips Charlotte Mary and Boxes down at The English Lounge last night for Freshly Sliced!

Louis started us off with a lovely acoustic chilled out set, some beautiful guitarwork from him and then we were followed up with Charotte’s amazing Americana tunes, accompanied by her stompbox which really brought a lovely atmosphere to her tracks (she played Man Up too, one of our favourites!) and then we finished up with David from Boxes who played us a lovely few covers, alongside some of Boxes’ beautiful songs – fantastic stuff last night!

we’ll be back down next Friday 8pm with our next event – more details to come soon, keep your eyes out on our socials for more info!

from next Wednesday 22nd Sept (not tomorrow!) we’ll be starting up our brand new open mic at The Lass O’Gowrie here in Manchester! The Lass is a cornerstone of the scene, having hosted one of the best open mics in the past and we’re stoked to be able to bring it back!
