Liverpool’s Abi Rose Kelly returns with a new single “GOOD THINGS CAN STILL…“! Another riffy, huge anthemic tune under her belt – it’s got a lovely guitar run throughout it, and with driving and massive rhythm forming the foundation of the track, it sounds class. Abi’s vocal takes centre-stage and ensures the listener is focused on her every word; it’s a brilliant listen and a fine single to return with after a couple of years.
Derbyshire indie-rock five-piece Marseille have just dropped their new single “Fever“! we’ve covered their music before, and we’re huge fans of their shoegazy-indie sound. this new tune sounds mega, it’s got a gorgeous atmosphere surrounding it, and such a driving energy behind the track – with anthemic, singalong melodies and gorgeous textural elements, it’s a class listen!
Liverpool-based Naomi Campbell has just released her new track “Naturally“! we loved her previous tunes, with a real soulful element to the tracks and this one is no different. it’s got a luscious guitar melody forming the base of the track, which compliments her ethereal vocal expertly – and full of gorgeous vocal harmonies that really elevate the soundscape of the track! it’s definitely worth a listen for any fans of folkier, acoustic music.
we covered a bunch of The Empire Police’s new singles, and they’ve just dropped their new EP “Strange New Places“! it’s a brilliant listen, full of anthemic singalong tunes, and you can really hear the range of inspiration within their music, yet they’ve managed to create something really unique to themselves, and really expanded on their signature sound over the years. with driving guitar riffs, huge rhythm and explosive vocals – we’re huge fans of this one.
Plastic Plant have just released their new EP “Radiodonta“! it’s a lovely listen, ranging from the psychedelic atmosphere of “Mantis Shrimp“, to the electro-indie elements of “Green is the Colour“, there’s a real sense of variety throughout the EP, and they utilise their guitar tones, expert musicianship and use of dynamic within their music to really create engaging, visual tracks – it’s a great listen start to finish!
a familiar face for us on the scene, Harriet Dagnall has just released her new single “Clinging To The Sides“! we’re huge fans of her lofi-esque, indie-folk sound – and this tune really portrays that sound so well. it’s got a lovely flow to it, with the rhythm forming a powerful foundation to the track, giving plenty of space for the guitars and vocals to soar above, feeling ethereal and dream-like – it’s a gorgeous track!
Indie-rock heavyweights The Rolling People have just put out their new single “In The Distance”! they’ve been making waves on the scene with every release, and this new track is real evidence of their talent. it’s got a fantastic sense of dynamic to it, with driving and explosive choruses, and atmospheric verses – their ability to write a catchy yet lyrically expert tune is second to none, and with a gorgeous guitar solo, it’s definitely worth checking out.
an old Manchester face for us, Lea Willms has just put out her new single “Home“! with a gorgeous, laid-back groove to the track, the drums and bass give a lovely foundation to the track, allowing Lea’s vocal to take command and ensure that her visual and expert storytelling is on full display. her honest, raw and personal lyricism is lovely to listen to, and she’s able to paint a real picture with her songs – a fantastic tune!
