A melting pot of folk, rock, punk and classical influences, Eyam has quickly gained a formidable reputation as the bard of Manchester’s music scene.
With epic song lengths, unconventional structures, and visual lyricism, his work draws comparison to the likes of Neutral Milk Hotel, Joanna Newsom, and The Microphones. Eyam’s music takes the audience to a new world, exploring feelings of yearning, love, obsession, grief, fear, nature, and time.
Eyam has grown into a distinctive artist unlike anything else currently operating in the North West. Since 2021, Eyam has been performing live around many of Manchester’s venues, and has opened for several local and touring bands. His work on Necromancer, the debut album by Anyone’s Ghost, took the form of intimate instrumentals and production contributions that shaped the ethereal, beautiful tone of that highly regarded record.
His debut sold-out headline show, on March 21st 2024, at The Fitzgerald in Manchester, was a resounding success. The first release “Jenny” is was released on Friday 24th of January 2025, produced by Michael Webster – with a headline show at The Castle Hotel on the following day.
Eyam’s second single “I Need To Swim (Demo)” was released on the 22nd of August, along with a launch gig down at the Eagle Inn – the track is available on all streaming platforms, and on Bandcamp.
